LoneTree Software Services is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been providing IT services to small and mid-size businesses for 17 years.
Many of our clients have been using our IT services dating back to our 1992 business opening. At that time, business clients were in critical need of an experienced person who could integrate their newly purchased products with their existing networks. Numerous IT support companies had been merging, consolidating services, and shifting to providing support and installation through large corporations and big-box retailers. This shift decreased the level of experienced, technical network engineers which were being replaced with minimally trained (and lower paid) microcomputer upgraders and troubleshooters. This brought about a critical need for solid, network integrators who could work consistently with one business network, and oversees needs with longterm goals. BOB HARRISON
Senior Network Engineer and Integrator
From the beginning roots of local area networks in the mid-1980's, Robert began installing and troubleshooting some of the earliest Novell, 3Com, and Banyan Vines business networks -- almost one decade before Microsoft's introduction into the network software industry. Bob has developed skills and acquired knowledge in migration of some of the oldest networks that exist.
For over twenty years, Robert has been integrating IT products into small business networks. With the introduction of the Windows 98 Internet Browser in 1998, Robert began working with telecommu
nications, Internet Service Providers, domain registries, and web hosts to bring his clients to the Internet.

Robert is a 1976 graduate of University of California at Berkeley. He has a certificate in Telecommunications from UC Berkeley Extension, and an Associate of Science degree in Electronics from Chabot College. He holds numerous factory trained certifications.
